Our Story

Frostguard Heating Services was founded in 2012 by brothers James and David Thornton. Growing up in a rural Yorkshire village, they understood firsthand the challenges of keeping homes warm during harsh winters.

After working for larger fuel distributors, they saw an opportunity to provide a more personal service to local communities. Starting with a single delivery vehicle, they built the business on reliability and fair dealing.

Today, Frostguard serves thousands of customers across West Yorkshire, from city terraces in Leeds to remote farmhouses in the Dales. We've grown, but our commitment to personal service remains unchanged.

Our Team

Frostguard is a team of twelve, including office staff, drivers, and service engineers. Most of us are from Yorkshire, and several have been with the company since the early days. When you call, you'll often speak to the same person—we believe in building relationships, not just making deliveries.
